Smaragda Papoulia

Smaragda Papoulia – Vasilakoudi was born in Athens, Greece where she developed her artistic skills at a young age. She was the first student to be accepted with a full state scholarship into Athens’ School of Fine Arts. While attending, she was mentored by P.Tetsis, G.Valavanidis, and learned stage design with V.Vasiliadis. She graduated with honors.

In 1980, she was inducted as a member of “The Collective Center of Artistic Activities” (“SYN”). She is also a member of “The Chamber of Fine Arts” of Greece. Her work can be found in museums , Ministry of Culture ,Bank of Eurobank, and many private and public collections through out Europe .
