Gagik Altunyan

Gagik Altunyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1957.  

• 1975-1981 Studied in the Terlemezyan Art School in Yerevan, where he graduated with honors. 
• 1983-1989 Continued eduction at the Terlemezyan Art School where he specialized in sculpture and painting. 
• 1994 Completed his master's degree with a scholarship from Moscow's Academy of Art, where he was taught by art professor Tsubaryan.  
• 1992-1993 Worked as an art critique at Armenia's Modern Art Museum. 
• 1993-1995 He taught at the Architecture School of Yerevan. 
• 1995 Moved to Greece
• 2000 Became a member of Greece's Chamber of Fine Arts. 
• 1996-2005 Had thirteen solo exhibitions, and participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Greece
